Odgerel Oyunbaatar – Contortionist
Mongolia produces some of the world’s greatest contortionists and Odgerel Oyunbaatar certainly lives up to that distinction. Her aunt, a gifted circus performer starring in the Mongolian National Circus, taught Odgerel the aerial perch and various high-wire acts at age 13. Just a few years later, she began performing in front of thousands of mesmerized fans in a song and dance ensemble all across Mongolia.

Odgerel fell in love with the U.S. when she first began performing in several of Neil Goldberg’s themed cirque performances – Cirque Dreams. While on tour around the U.S., one of her most notable stops was hitting the Big Apple to star in Cirque Dreams Broadway. Odgerel performed various routines including aerial acrobatics, aerial cube and her favorite – contortion.
Audiences are in for a real treat to catch Odgerel’s intricate bends and twists that resemble a real-life moving sculpture.
