Eliezer Plasencia – Drummer

At age 12, Eliezer discovered his passion for playing the drums. He perfected the craft while playing in the marching bands during middle school and high school. Eliezer also played drums in various types of bands from rock, punk, acoustic to folk-rock while attending college at Northwestern. He even dabbled in some hip-hop dancing.

However, Eliezer’s interests extended beyond music. He moved to Oahu to work with a friend on a work-trade program on an organic farm, Mohala Farms, tending to crops and livestock. Ironically, the farm happened to have a drum set so he and his co-workers would bring their instruments to have regular jam sessions. That was enough to rekindle Eliezer’s passion for music and eventually landed him on the shores of Maui’s Ka`anapali Coast for Cirque Polynesia.
