VILI the Warrior joins the cast full time!

Alena Chernova
Alena is from Alma-Ata, Kazakhstan, where she started ballet school at the age of four. She then joined a Kazakhstan Circus at age eight. She has traveled throughout Europe, Asia and North America. She has performed and competed in several championships.

Alexandre Arestov
Originally from Moscow, Russia is a multi- talented performer. He is a graduate of the world famous Moscow Circus School with a degree in Theatrical Arts. Alexandre started his own Acrobatic troupe in the Moscow State Circus. He has traveled all over Europe, South America, and Asia.

Atunaisa “Atu” Lageretabua
Atu was born and raised in Fiji. He grew up with the strong influence of his mother, whom he regards as one of the most important people in his life. In 1984, he moved to Hawaii and attended BUY on a scholarship.  As a student at BYU, he worked at the world famous Polynesian Culturual Center where he was a member of the “Promotional Team” and toured parts of the U.S., Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong and many more.

Elena Arestov
From Moscow, Russia. She began practicing circus arts at the age of 8. She continued through college where she graduated from the world Famous Moscow Circus School. Elena specialized in Acrobatics and performed with a troupe. She performed with the Moscow State Circus in Russia and all over Europe.

Ivan Arestov
Ivan is a 2nd generation circus performer. Ivan made his debut at the age of 3. Ivan performed Hand to Hand with his Father Alexandre. Ivan is now mastering his balance on the Ultimate Wheels. Better known as the unicycle without a seat.

Lyric Wallenda
Lyric is a 7th generation of the world famous Wallenda family. She is the great granddaughter of the late Karl Wallenda. Lyric began her professional career at the age of five. She has mastered many types of Aerials acts along with the family tradition the High wire. Lyric performs the Aerial Perch with her mother Rietta Wallenda. She participated with her family in The Monte Carlo Circus Festival 2004. The Wallendas took the Silver Clown for the USA.

Marina Salonga
Marina is an accomplished dancer with more than 20 years of experience. She has trained in multiple forms of dance including modern, ballet, jazz, tap, flamenco, hula, aerial, belly and several others. Not shy to help aspiring dancers, Marina has also taught various forms of dance through classes and workshops. She performs on the silks and the Adagio, an intricate balancing act, with fellow cast member Raymond.

Olessya Kurgayeva
From Rudny, Kazakhstan, was trained at Youth Circus School in Kazakhstan. She started performing at the age of twelve. She has toured extensively throughout Russia, Japan, China, and now In North America.

Petru Vasilachi
Originally from Chisinau, Moldova, Petru began training in gymnastics at age seven and continued training for eleven years. He graduated from an acrobatics school where he received a diploma in gymnastics. Petru has toured throughout Europe and North America.

Raymond Silos
Raymond is a local boy, born and raised on Oahu. He began his training as a performer at Disney World before he made his way back to the islands to dance in various local productions. In Cirque Polynesia, Raymond is featured in sophisticated acrobalance acts and silks, a breath-taking aerial ballet performed on ribbons of flowing silk fabric.

Rietta Wallenda
Rietta a 6th Generation Wallenda, began performing on the high wire with her grandfather Karl and the Great Wallendas at age 13. Rietta has had a multifaceted career, adding to her talents on the wire by performing daring feats on the Sway Pole. She doubled for Cathy Rigby in the chair position at the top of the pyramid in The Great Wallendas. She was the top 7th person in the pyramid in the Monte Carlo Circus Festival 2004 the Wallendas took the Silver Clown.

Simon Arestov
Simon is a 2nd generation circus performer born in Moscow, Russia. Simon made his first professional performance in The Moscow State Circus with his parent’s troupe. Simon later began performing Hand to Hand with his father and later moved on to his specialty the Rolla Bolla. Simon has performed the Rolla Bolla since the age of 13.

Stephan Terni
From Chisinau, Moldova, Stefan originally trained as a gymnast before joining a circus school. Since graduation he has toured both Europe and North America as a performer with major productions.

Vili Fehoko
Cirque Polynesia has added cast member Vili Fehoko, better known as Vili the Warrior, for his role as the University of Hawaii Warrior’s mascot at football and men’s volleyball games. For the past 28 years, Vili entertained millions throughout the world beginning at the Polynesian Cultural Center, recently for six NFL Pro Bowls as well as appearances on national television including, CNN and ESPN.
