Cirque Polynesia is a masterful blend of contemporary entertainment artistry and unparalleled human ability inspired by Polynesia.

Hawaii’s only true cirque show resides at the at the Hyatt Regency Maui Resort & Spa on the shores of the Kaanapali Coast, under the stars in the show’s brand new, outdoor venue, the Maui Moon Theatre.

The unique 75-minute show features an ensemble of internationally-acclaimed cirque performers including two of the world-renowned sixth and seventh generation, flying Wallenda family members performing their death-defying high-wire act 40-feet in the air. The mother and daughter team perform the “perch,” an amazing display of power and grace as daughter Lyric, secured by her ankle high above the audience, spins mother Rietta, secured only by a harness around her neck, at high speed with one arm.

Cirque Polynesia provides non-stop action with each stunning individual performance as entertaining as the last. Aerial acrobats, masters of balance, aerial illusionists, quick-change transformations are superbly complimented with an intimate stage setting and state-of-the-art lighting.

The show’s original music score features Diane Salonga Rubio, a classically-trained cellist, flute, ukulele and strings musician; and composer Dan Cruces who also performs on keyboards, drums, electric percussion and the trumpet.

The show is a true entertainment extravaganza unlike any other in Hawaii – combining the influence of Polynesia with the mystery and drama of modern day Cirque. It’s an experience for both young and old that cannot be missed.
